about

I’ll Do It Tomorrow is the second single from the Dislocation Songs’ LP, which has now received support from heavyweight selectors Gilles Peterson and Kieran Hebden. I’ll Do It Tomorrow is another laid-back, percussion-heavy journey. Dubby synths ripple through hypnotic conga-grooves, space and time really seem to slow down for this electronic meditation. Emanative introduced Chris to Sarathy Korwar (who features heavily on the LP), and he has also produced the first remix from “Dislocation Songs”. His 808 re-imagining features Tamar Collocutor on bass clarinet and Fergal McBride on Bass taking the music into new dimensions. Accompanying the EP is an equally trance-inducing video, produced by Chris’ teenage son as a lockdown creative exercise whilst home-schooling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
